This time of year I am usually flooded with questions and info about "cleansing" - liver detoxes, colon flushes and the like. What I am rarely asked about is how to cleanse the circulatory system! A couple months ago one of my kids commented that I seemed to be getting a little 'winded'. I hadn't thought about it but realized they were correct; I had noticed I was getting out of breath doing things that had never bothered me before my second bout with COVID. Then, I remembered the cardiac cleanse and decided to start flushing my circulatory system. Within about ten days I couldn't believe the difference in my stamina; sometimes we don't notice what we're missing until it gets really dramatic!
The foundation for the program is the herbal combination Mega-Chel, which naturopath Dr. Jack Ritchason developed as an alternative to IV chelation for removing arterial deposits. One of my clients did the program after being told he needed a triple bypass; since he no longer showed any blockages when he went back to his doctor a year later, the physician assumed someone else had done the surgery. (I have to tell you here that I am not a doctor and am not prescribing any treatment, just sharing a personal experience!) Dr. Ritchason's recommendation was to begin by taking three tablets a day for three days, then increase to four tablets for four days, and so on until you reach a total of 12 per day; he suggested maintaining that intake for one month for every decade of your age. Slowly reduce back to zero, or to the amount needed for general circulatory maintenance if that is the product you test for. Yes, that seems like a lengthy process, but remember that in one year you will replace almost 15% of your cells. Several months makes the program long enough to result in a significant, long-term change in body structure and function. Couple that with diet and lifestyle improvements and you will be in a great new state!
The original Mega-Chel formula contained organic germanium, which is no longer included, so I am adding a small scoop of My Immune Defense, a multi-mushroom (cordyceps, turkey tail, chaga, shitake, reishi, and others ) powder to cherry or berry juice every day as a natural source of the trace element. It's interesting that the 'healing' water at Lourdes is quite high in germanium! Garlic, long considered a great supplement for the circulatory system, is one of the highest sources; onions, tuna, and carrots are also significant. (Funny, true, garlic story: one of my clients brought in her mother, who had extreme hypertension that had not significantly responded to any standard medication, or to two different drug trials. She had been asked to enroll in a third trial, with a medication so tough that they required a liver scan and complete bloodwork every week, and her daughter was understandably concerned. I was surprised that the only product she tested for was High Potency Garlic. When she came for her three-week recheck, she told me she had "had to stop taking the garlic". I wondered what possible side effect could be so severe - I couldn't think of anything worse than heartburn! The problem, it turned out, was that her blood pressure had dropped into normal range; the doctor told her she could be at risk of fainting if her blood pressure dropped too low, so she "HAD to stop taking the garlic" - rather, of course, than stopping the ineffective medication! Note that an herb will not override your body's "normal" function, only a drug can do that. My clients know I usually prefer getting nutrients from food rather than pills; other great heart food to consume are beets (delicious raw, like grated into a salad!), raw walnuts and cashews, avocado, leafy greens, and cruciferous vegetables. It is even more essential to drink at least half as many ounces of water as you weigh in pounds while you are flushing to avoid the potential for toxic headaches; if you do get one, adding some Liquid Chlorophyl, chlorophyll capsules, or Chlorophyl powder packs to your water will help shake it off.
Lastly, cleaning out your heart isn't complete without addressing emotional and energetic issues. Healthy hearts are flexible, showing mercy and forgiveness - even for yourself. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the heart governs drive and passion; fall in love with LIFE! Let every heartbeat count for you and those around you.
